an observer
Wedding photographer
& Creative director for the local folke studio
I am Julienne Martin
I’m a 24-year-old wedding photographer who began with portraits, but my love for photography started much earlier — around twelve — quietly documenting everything I could. It was my first way of holding onto time.
I was drawn to weddings because of the stories. So many lives, gathered in one place, all speaking about the same thing: love. Different shapes, different languages, yet somehow the same feeling. It’s a privilege to witness, and even more to preserve.
Outside of photography, I’m a mom to nine cats and four dogs, rescuing animals whenever I can. I travel often, collect perfumes like memories, and quietly make little films of my own life — moments I don’t want to forget.
This is how I move through the world: observing, remembering, and telling stories with care.

I hope to create photographs that feel timeless.
the kind your children will one day find in old albums or books and still feel connected to.
Images that outlive us.
Work that is shaped by the people I meet and the love they trust me to document.
Because love is never just one person’s story, yet it belongs to everyone.

My philosophy
I believe in thoughtful, considered, and personal collaborations
I believe photography is less about creating and more about noticing.
Although many people see my name, I don’t work alone. I lead a roster of seasoned Baguio photographers whom I personally mentor and direct in the same philosophy — the same eye, the same patience, the same respect for real moments. This ensures that no matter who stands beside you on your day, the intention and storytelling remain consistent.
The small gestures. The pauses between words. The way a hand reaches for another without thinking. These are the moments that matter most — the ones that often go unseen, but are felt long after.
At a wedding, nothing is ever just one story. It’s families, histories, and lifetimes intersecting for a single day. My role is to move gently within it all — to observe with care, to document honestly, and to never interrupt what is already beautiful as it is.
I’m drawn to photographs that feel timeless and lived-in. Images that age well. The kind you return to years from now and still recognize yourself in. Nothing forced, nothing excessive — only what’s real.
If my work does anything, I hope it helps you remember not just how it looked, but how it felt.
